Thankful

Have I mentioned how much I love Fall? It is (in my opinion) the most amazing season of the year, so beautiful and fresh.. I love the crispness in the air and the changing colors of the leaves and it makes me so thankful that I live in such a beautiful country that allows us to celebrate each season and all its beauty!

The farmers market on my way to work started displaying pumpkins about 3 weeks ago and every year when I first see them I get so giddy its almost ridiculous! I get excited to display my pumpkins on the front porch along with this little beauty of a wreath I made 2 years ago..

And something that I really am thankful for tonight? The homemade buns that are slowly coming out of the oven here in the Petrick house.. the smell wafting through here is enough to make anyone fall to their knees!

So in the spirit of the season and feeling thankful for so many things, I decided to bring out my new Making Memories "Autumn Splendor" papers to create a beautiful card for someone special (sorry its not the best picture..I ran out of daylight!!)

I combined the MM pp with their matching accessory leaves and PTI's Fall Elegance Stamp set for the pumpkins and sentiment. The pumpkin trio was super easy to create, just need to mask a little around the edges for each stamp and voila! A little pumpkin patch of your very own!

Alright, I'd love to stay and "chat" but there are some warm, fresh buns calling my name! Have a great night everyone and stay warm!
